Did Somebody Say, "Outlines?"
Welcome to the AIPEL blog. Check out the new link!
The Association of Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law at the University of Missouri School Of Law is a group open to all students. This student group was created to promote intellectual property (patents, trademarks, copyrights, etc.) and entertainment law throughout the school and regional community. Both areas of law are rapidly growing as they closely intertwine with e-commerce, cyber law, music law, and sports law. One main goal of AIPEL is to provide mentoring and networking opportunities in the fields of intellectual property and entertainment law. In addition, AIPEL prides itself on reaching out to the community through various philanthropy events and fostering a learning environment by introducing many guest speakers to the student body. As the digital world creates challenges for protecting intellectual property, the members of AIPEL will be a resource for individuals and organizations striving to lead careers as promoters and protectors of the progress of science and the useful arts.
